How to make Gohan (Japanese) ?






Ingredients :

+300 ml rice
+500 ml water


Method :

+ Put the rice in a saucepan and rinse with plenty of cold water

+Continue to rinse until the water of the rice is clean.



+ Strain the rice with a sieve.

+Place the rice in the pot. You need 500 ml of liquid.

+ Soak the rice in cold water for 45 minutes.
   Note : rice breaks in cold water

+Close the pan and boil low heat

+Cook for 15-20 minutes until the liquid is absorbed.

+Take the pot from the stove.Rest the meal for 20 minutes

+Before serving fluff the rice with wooden Japanese rice paddle.

+Cover the rice with a clean towel and the saucepan lid up to ready to serve.

+ Ready for service.
