Surrounded by Egypt's date palm gardens, the inhabitants of the village of Fanus,finally began to harvest the date palm.
In the country where hot air is dominated,residents of the village who barely climbed the palm trees to reach the panicles at the top of the palm tree,they has been doing this for years, despite all his hardships, where they've made a living.





Muhammad Ali Abdullatif, who was involved in the palm trade, said in a statement that there were about one million palm trees in Feyyum province and that many varieties of the palm were grown.

Abdullatif, "Es-Sivi" made of date palm paste, dried palm."Al-Hayani" and the long red palm Zaglul genera, such as known dates grow in their villages, he said.



Abdullatif stated that each tree yielded between 75 and 125 kilograms of date palm over 50 years, adding that garden owners also generated revenue by selling palm branches.

Abdullatif stated that tree branches have been used for the production of various objects such as straw plates, pots, baskets and ornaments from the date to today.
